A free medical camp was conducted on 15th June 2024, providing invaluable healthcare services to the local community. Organized by a team from the Rotary Club of Chennai Hallmark in collaboration with JEEVARAKSHAI TRUST, dedicated healthcare professionals and volunteers aimed to offer medical assistance to individuals who might otherwise lack access to such services. The event featured a range of services, including blood pressure, blood sugar, haemoglobin, bone marrow tests, and gynaecology consultations. More than 80 people benefited from this camp. Additionally, free medications and basic health education were provided to attendees. The camp not only addressed immediate health concerns but also raised awareness about preventive care and healthy living. The positive turnout and feedback underscored the significant impact of the initiative. Our dedication to this cause stems from the profound impact these camps have on improving public health and providing essential medical care to underserved populations. In the future, we are committed to continuing our efforts in organizing free medical camps to serve communities in need.
On 3rd June 2024, we are proud to have provided financial support to students from low-income families, aiming to alleviate the financial burden and ensure they have the resources needed to pursue their education. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the underprivileged and fostering a brighter future for our community. By assisting these students, we hope to empower them to achieve their academic goals and contribute positively to society. We are dedicated to continuing our efforts in providing such support and making a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need.
To help everyone stay hydrated and refreshed during the summer, we launched a buttermilk distribution program at Jeevarakshai Mental Health Wellness Centre for the local community. This program ran from May 2024 until the end of June 2024. The aim was not only to provide relief from the scorching temperatures but also to promote the benefits of staying hydrated with a traditional and healthy drink like buttermilk. This program was open to all local residents. This initiative is our step towards enhancing health and wellness for everyone. In the future, we're committed to bringing more events like this to our community.
On the occasion of International Women's Day, we recently organized an event at Jeevarakshai Mental Health Wellness Centre on March 8, 2024, providing free medical checkups, including vital signs, eye examinations, hemoglobin tests and general physician consultations for the local community. More than 80 people benefited from this camp. This initiative aimed to provide vital health screenings and consultations to those in need. The event was a resounding success, and we have plans to continue organizing similar events in the future to support the underprivileged and vulnerable members of the community.
We provided groceries to transgender families impacted by the Michaung cyclone and flood on December 8th, 2023. The aim was to offer essential support during a challenging time. The families expressed their gratitude for the support. We have plan to organize similar events to support transgender communities in the future.

The event was aimed at providing free food to the elderly residents of the home - Sakthi Aadharavu Illam, Maduravoyal on 18th September 2023. The residents of the home expressed their gratitude for the food donation. We have plans to continue organizing similar events in the future to support the elderly community.
We organized a tarpaulin sheet distribution event for underprivileged tribal people in Ooty on September 1, 2023. This initiative aimed to provide much-needed tarpaulins to those who couldn't afford them, helping improve their living conditions. The event was a resounding success, with a large number of tarpaulins distributed and expressions of gratitude from community members. We plan to continue organizing similar events in the future to support underprivileged tribal communities.

The event aimed to empower the local community by providing them with valuable legal information and essential clothing items. The legal awareness camp was conducted to educate residents about their rights, legal procedures, and avenues for seeking justice. They also organized a clothing distribution drive to provide clothes to those in need. We were part of event and distributed clothes. The event aimed to support these women who were in need and lacked basic necessities. We distributed clothes and provided food to them.
